“I had been nursing both of my units along for the past year, and knew they were in need of replacement due to Freon leaks. Got one estimate from a reputable company about whom I had heard good reports. Called Conway Services for a second estimate, due to the many ads I’ve heard. Derrick came after hours (so I didn’t have to leave work early), sized up my requirements, and gave me a very competitive proposal along with a professional presentation. After some minor adjustments, I agreed to the proposal and he scheduled the install for a few days later. The installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Overall, the entire experience was great. I highly recommend them!”

“I specifically called Conway Services because of the number of positive remarks on Angie’s List. I own a rental property and the outside air conditioner unit stopped working. After looking at Angie’s List, I called Conway at 8:55 p.m., expecting to leave a message. I was shocked when a real person, not an answering machine or answering service, answered the phone. I explained the problem and was told that they would “do their best to squeeze me in the next day,” but could not guarantee an appointment.
I received a call the next morning before 10 a.m. from a very professional, kind repairman who had already inspected the entire system and found the problem. He told me the problem, an estimation of the price, and asked for my authorization to proceed. Within an hour it was fixed and the price was right on target. Considering that I thought the outside unit needed to be fully replaced, I was happy to know it was simply a capacitor and a boost of Freon.

“The day before the service, Conway called to confirm the appointment. Everyone that I spoke with at Conway was very professional. Ro, the service tech that performed the service, was polite and professional. After he finished servicing my two heaters, he told me that one of my capacitors was in need of replacing. However, because of his honesty regarding the precise condition of the capacitor, I decided that it didn’t need replacing right away. He could have easily said that the capacitor was on its “last leg,” and I would have needed to replace it immediately. I told him that I appreciated his honesty and would replace it at later date. I also appreciated that he was not real “pushy” or salesman like. I highly recommend Conway Services!”

“My air conditioner quit working Sunday night, 7/24/11, so I called Conway Services at 8 a.m. Monday morning, based on the recommendations I’d read. I couldn’t stay home to wait, so they were to call me when the tech was on his way. Being summer time, they were extremely busy but called me at lunch time to let me know they would get to me that day. At 3 p.m. they called to say Scott (their tech) was on his way. Unfortunately, my employer could not let me go just then, so they directed him to another repair and told me they would redirect him to my house after that. I was able to get off at 3:30, and Scott came by about 4:15 after finishing his previous job.

I’m very curious about things I don’t know much about, and Scott put up with my looking over his shoulder and asking numerous questions. After fixing the problem, he fully checked the system to insure everything was working correctly. He also made some recommendations as to ways to make my system work better and last longer. I had to have this same capacitor replaced about four years ago, and the price was very much in line with what I expected to pay.
